Company Safety Policy

Marshall-Lee Construction Corp. is committed to the safety of all its workers. In fulfilling this commitment, management shall provide and maintain a safe and healthy work environment in accordance with industry standards and in compliance with legislative requirements. Marshall-Lee’s goal is to eliminate any foreseeable hazards that may result in death, personal injury, illness, or property damage.

Marshall-Lee maintains an active health and safety program through which accidental loss can be controlled and minimized. The program encourages active employee involvement in safety meetings, hazard assessments, site inspections, and the continuing development of safe work practices and safe job procedures. Marshall-Lee is committed to maintaining this open spirit of consultation with its workers.

All personnel are ultimately responsible for their own safety, be they managers, supervisors or employees. All employees shall perform their jobs in accordance with established procedures and safe work practices, and they shall minimize the potential for accidents in their work areas. In turn, all management activities will follow company safety requirements with respect to planning, operation, and maintenance of work sites and equipment.

Workers have the right to work in a safe and healthy environment, and they have the right to refuse unsafe work. They are responsible for reporting unsafe acts or conditions to their supervisors.

The success of our safety program requires the continuing dedication and participation of everyone involved.

The safety information in this policy does not take precedence over Occupational Health and Safety Regulations.  All employees must be familiar with and follow those regulations. Copies are provided at Marshall-Lee’s office and at active job sites.
