“The team at Marshall-Lee Construction Corp. did a great job completing the construction of the RCMP Detachment/Protective Services Building in Lloydminster. This project was in a great state of disarray when you assumed the project after the previous contractor left the job. You brought this project to completion with a minimum amount of concern by the City.

Most importantly to the City the end result is a great building that will serve the City and the RCMP well into the future. Marshall- Lee is to be commended for the work that was done and I highly recommend Marshall-Lee for any building construction project.”

“I want to express our gratitude for all that you have done for us throughout this building process. We could not have teamed up with a better organization than Marshall-Lee Construction.

Your commitment to Memorial Composite High School has never wavered from pre-construction meetings to post-construction issues. You have always kept our needs at the forefront. Your mandate seemed to be to build the best possible learning environment. You succeeded and have left a building that will be truly appreciated and enjoyed by staff and students of Memorial for years to come. You have created a beautiful building.

As we both know, this has not been an easy project. I have greatly appreciated your proactive approach in dealing with the issues. I always felt confident that you would resolve any concern. Our needs as an educational facility were always your priority.”

“I wish to acknowledge the high standard and professionalism exhibited by Marshall-Lee Construction Corporation during the construction of a $26 million dollar project.

In my capacity as an elected representative, I had the pleasure of working with Marshall-Lee staff as part of the projects’ advisory team. They conducted regular project meetings to review overall progress and receive input for the Municipality and other parties. They made themselves readily available to address on-going challenges, as the overall project included both construction and demolition activities in a residential neighborhood. Their leadership and management style certainly added benefit to this very high profile project in our community.

Marshall-Lee was quick to mobilize their workforce and demonstrated a commitment through-out the construction phase to maintain schedules. They were able to retain the services of several local contractors which was viewed very positively in our community.

I would like to extend my sincere recommendation that Marshall-Lee be considered by other organizations in need of a quality contractor.”

“We would like to take this opportunity to re-iterate our thanks on behalf of the project team at SAHUI + Partners to you and your team at Marshall-Lee Construction Corporation for the professionalism, proactive problem solving and cooperation demonstrated as we worked together to successfully complete South Station ( Fire Hall No.5) project in Fort McMurray, Alberta.

The active participation of your Project Manager and Site Superintendent in firstly identifying unforeseen circumstances on site and secondly offering effecting resolution strategies allowed the construction of the project to continue without delay. The end result is an Emergency Services building of thirty-six-thousand square feet at at cost of $20 million (Targeting LEED silver certification) that will stand the test of time and is the sort of project that we can all take pride in.

We found working with your firm very productive and rewarding. SAHURI + Partners Architecture would recommend Marshall-Lee Construction Corporation without hesitation and look forward to working with your team again when given the opportunity.”

“St. Albert Public Schools recently completed the construction of a 600 student two story ECS-Grade 6 school. Marshall-Lee Construction Corp. was the general contractor for this design build project.

I have no reservation stating the construction of the school went incredibly smooth. This is not withstanding St. Albert is not an easy community in which to undertake construction and St. Albert Public School district No. 5565 is a demanding client with high expectations. Issues that surfaced were minimal and were proactively overcome. In addition, Marshall-Lee ‘s ability to coordinate internally with the jurisdiction and with other groups, such as the playground installer, when required was exemplary.

I would be please if the Marshall-Lee team that was in place for the construction of Lois E. Hole Elementary School could build more schools for the district.”

“Marshall-Lee Construction Corp. was the general contractor for the last school constructed in the district and subsequently constructed a large addition and modernization to an elementary/junior high school.

Both projects were successful and Marshall-Lee Construction Corp. undertook the construction in a diligent and professional manner with emphasis on quality, schedule and budget.

“Your selection of Raph Steinke as Site Superintendent has made our site coordination both smooth and effective.

I appreciate your control of the scheduling, bringing the project in ahead of schedule, your efficient and timely handling of contractual paper work, your control and coordination of sub-trades, and above all, your cooperative attitude as a team player with ourselves and our consultants.

I have enjoyed our professional relationship and I look forward to doing so again in the future if the opportunity arises.”

“On behalf of the students, staff and myself, I would like to express our gratitude for the time and effort you put into the renovation of our school. All your efforts are very much appreciated, and we take great pride in our ‘like new’ facility.

We appreciate that the funding was very tight, however, it is through the efforts of everyone involved that you were able to stretch each dollar in order to achieve such a great final product. Thank you for all your efforts on our behalf. We can all be very proud of our great school, an excellent school building, and a job well done!”

“Marshall-Lee was the low bidder in a very competitive market, the final value of changes amounted to only 1.5% of the contract value. The majority of approved extras were additional items requested by the owner.

During the entire period of building construction, Marshall-Lee accommodated a separate local contractor doing civil work on the site, without raising delay claims or disputes. Marshall-Lee was open to providing opportunities to local labour, and effectively managed sub-trades and resolved trade scope issues without recourse to the owner. They also assisted with obtaining independent trade association inspections when requested. Along with the users and school maintenance staff, I am pleased with the overall quality of the final product. Commissioning problems have been surprisingly few, and warranty items have been effectively dealt with.”
